Ducati unveiled the Scrambler at the 2014 INTERMOT Show in Cologne, Germany, in October. The new Ducati Scrambler is a spiritual successor to the Italian manufacturer’s original Scrambler motorcycles of the 1960s and 1970s.
It perfectly portrays the minimalist approach of the original 250cc and 450cc Scramblers. The Scrambler was recently voted as the ‘most beautiful bike’ in a poll conducted by an Italian magazine, during the 2014 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy.
The new Scrambler will be powered by the liquid-cooled 803cc V-twin engine which is also used in the Monster 796. Ducati recently kick-started the production of the Scrambler at its manufacturing facility in Bologna, Italy and the motorcycle is expected to be launched in India as a CBU, by next year. Ducati globally offers the Scrambler in four versions - Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle. Check out the picture gallery of the Ducati Scrambler.
