The Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro has been launched in India at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This motorcycle is the fourth model in the Scrambler range, and as the name suggests, gets a distinct personality of a city bike while featuring several off-road elements.
Fancy detailing like aluminium panels on the fuel tank, LED DRLs, LCD instrument console and aluminium heat covers give the Scrambler Urban Enduro a classy and sophisticated look. On the other hand, the high front mudguard, fork protectors, headlamp grill, skid plate, spoke wheels and the handlebar lend it a rugged character.
Built around a trellis frame, the Scrambler Urban Enduro is powered by a detuned version of the Monster 796's L-twin engine. This 803cc air-cooled units delivers 74bhp and 68Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. It gets Kayaba suspension and Brembo brakes, while the spoke wheels come shod with Pirelli dual sport tyres. ABS is offered as a standard fitment.
The Scrambler Urban Enduro is offered in a lone wild green paint scheme. While it doesn’t have any direct competition in the Indian market, it is priced close to the Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Z800 and the Honda CBR650F.
