- Unofficial pre-bookings open
- Launch date unavailable yet
- Uses 803cc air-cooled engine
The new DucatiScrambler Urban Motard is expected to arrive in India very soon. While Ducati India is yet to make an announcement, select dealerships have commenced the unofficial pre-bookings for the motorcycle ahead of its launch. The new Scrambler Urban Motard is already available in the international markets. The India-bound model will be similar to the international-spec version.
Thus, the motorcycle will use the 803cc, L-Twin, air-cooled engine that produces 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The Scrambler Urban Motard is built around a tubular steel trellis frame and it uses 41mm Kayaba upside-down front forks and a Kayaba rear mono-shock. The braking tasks are handled by a single 330mm rotor at the front and 245mm disc at the rear.
The styling cues include a dual-tone paint theme that combines Star White Silk white and Ducati GP ’19 Red. It uses street art and metropolitan graffiti inspired graphics. Other design elements comprise 17-inch wire-spoke wheels, flat seat, number plate-style side panel, high front mudguard, and asymmetrically-mounted instrument cluster.
