We recently rode the Ducati Streetfighter V2 extensively and had a ball with it. If you haven’t read our first ride review of the motorcycle, do it now. The motorcycle is truly a head-turner when it comes to aesthetics and we couldn’t stop gawking at it. Italians do know how to design stuff, don’t they? On that note, we have hand-picked some of the most stunning images from our review of the Streetfighter V2 for you to drool over.
The SFV2 looks almost identical to its bigger sibling, the Streetfighter V4. Hence, it sports a sinister-looking front fascia accompanied by a muscular fuel tank and extensions.
The tail section, meanwhile, is the same as its faired sibling, the Panigale V2. The pointed rear section with big grooves and a neatly tucked split-type tail lamp blends seamlessly with the overall design.
Matching its marvellous styling is top-notch build quality and fit and finish. In fact, the upmarket finishing of its red paint work elevates its visual appeal substantially.
As fast as the Streetfighter V2 looks at a standstill, it is equally quick when you get going. That’s courtesy of the 150bhp, 955cc, L-twin engine borrowed from the Panigale V2.
To tame all that performance and keep the rider safe, the list of electronic aids is also comprehensive. There’s cornering ABS with a slide-by-brake function, traction control system, wheelie control, and engine brake control.
Facilitated by a six-axis IMU, the Streetfighter also offers three customisable riding modes (Sport, Road, and Wet), and multiple power modes.
Even the hardware package is typical Ducati with fully-adjustable Showa BPF USDs, a Sachs rear monoshock, Sachs steering damper, and Brembo’s top-of-the-line brake callipers.
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is priced at Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and it mainly competes against the Triumph Street Triple RS.
