- It is christened the Centauro
- Gets the same livery as the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Minotauro
- Boasts hand-painted black and white mural art
Ducati and Lamborghini have teamed up again to create something exotic under their Special Clienti program. Dubbed the Centauro, it’s a Lamborghini special edition model of the Italian bike maker’s flagship naked street bike, the Streetfighter V4.
The Streetfighter V4 Centauro is based on the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Minotauro special edition supercar which was unveiled back in 2021. Replicating the livery of the Minotauro, this Streetfighter V4 boasts black and white murals on its bodywork, starting from the front fender to the tail section. Interestingly, this mural art was created by the highly revered artist, Paolo Troilo, who used his finger to paint the bodywork. The motorcycle was showcased at the Art of Creating Myths exhibition in Bologna’s Galleria Cavour.
Mechanically, the Centauro edition remains identical to the standard Streetfighter V4. It is propelled by a 1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that makes 205bhp and 123Nm, making it one of the most powerful naked bikes in the world. Even the cycle parts are top-class comprising fully adjustable Showa and Sachs suspension at the front and back, respectively, while braking is handled by Brembo brakes. Typical of a Ducati, it is crammed with electronic aids like traction control, slide control, wheelie control, power launch, and more.
In India, the Ducati Streetfighter V3 is available in standard and S variants that are priced at Rs. 22.15 lakh and Rs. 25.69 lakh, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom).
