- Pre-bookings open at select dealerships
- Launch likely to happen at the end of this month
- No announcement from Ducati India yet
Select Ducati dealerships in India have commenced the pre-bookings for the naked roadster model, the Streetfighter V4 ahead of its launch. The pre-bookings, however, are open at the dealership level and Ducati India has not made any announcement about the motorcycle yet. As per the dealer sources, the Streetfighter V4 is likely to arrive by the end of this month.
The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 rivals the likes of KTM 1290 Super Duke R, Kawasaki Z H2, Yamaha MT-10, Aprilia Tuono V4, and the BMW S1000R in the international markets. Most of its rivals, except the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, are either already available in the Indian market or are likely to arrive soon.
The flagship naked roadster from the Italian two-wheeler brand uses the same 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that also powers the Panigale V4. The liquid-cooled, V4 engine is tuned to produce 205bhp at 12,750rpm. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at just 178kg (kerb weight), giving it an impressive power-to-weight ratio. A plethora of electronic aids ensure rider safety.
Internationally, the motorcycle is available in two colours – Dark Stealth and Ducati Red. We expect both colours to arrive in the Indian market.
