- Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP launched
- Top-spec model in the Streetfighter line-up
- Rs 14 lakh more expensive than the standard model
Ducati India has launched its most ferocious super naked, the Streetfighter V4 SP, with a price tag of Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). That makes it about Rs 14 lakh and Rs 10.76 lakh more expensive than the existing standard and S variants, respectively. To justify that premium, the motorcycle comes equipped with higher-spec components and a few other changes.
The motorcycle dons a special “Winder Test” livery which is inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP and WSBK motorcycles ridden in their pre-season tests. It sports a combination of multiple shades like Matte Black for body panels, Matte Carbon finish for wings, brushed aluminium shade for the fuel tank finished, and a few streaks of red.
In the hardware department, the Streetfighter V4 SP is as premium as it can get. It rides on Marchesini forged magnesium wheels that are 0.9kg lighter than the forged aluminium units featured on the S trim. Stopping power comes from top-shelf Brembo Stylema R calipers at the front while the suspension duties are handled by Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 setup. Other noteworthy elements include adjustable aluminium and CNC machined footpegs, a carbon front mudguard, and a lithium-ion battery.
Making it a fire-breathing demon is a 1,103cc, V4-cylinder, liquid-cooled Desmosedici Stradale engine that makes a respectable 208bhp and 123Nm of peak torque. What makes it tameable is a long list of electronic aids like cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, engine brake control, and more.
Ducati has commenced bookings for the Streetfighter V4 SP at its authorised dealerships across India with deliveries to commence immediately.
