Ducati India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Supersport 950. The motorcycle is available in two variants – standard and S.
The base model is available in a single colour (Ducati Red) while the S variant has been listed in two paint options (Ducati Red and Arctic Silk White). The Supersport 950 Ducati Red is available at Rs 13.49 lakh. The Supersport S Ducati Red, on the other hand, has been listed at Rs 15.49 lakh. The Arctic Silk White colour carries a premium of Rs 20,000 over the Ducati Red paint, and it is available at Rs 15.69 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, India).
Apart from the colour palette, the two variants are distinguished through their respective suspension setup. The S variant uses fully-adjustable 48mm Ohlins upside-down front forks and an Ohlins rear mono-shock while the base model gets 43mm USD Marzocchi front forks and a Sachs mono-shock. The S variant also gets a passenger seat cover as standard.
The mechanical specifications are identical on both variants. The BS6-compliant 937cc, L-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine churns out 108.6bhp at 9,000rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
