- Euro5 model makes 108.6bhp and 93Nm
Ducati India will soon update its product portfolio with the launch of the SuperSport 950 BS6. The company has posted an image of a covered motorcycle on its social media channels, hinting at the imminent launch of a new model. The Euro5-compliant (equivalent to BS6) SuperSport 950 range is already available in the international markets.
Internationally, the SuperSport 950 is available in two variants – Standard and S. The S variant of the motorcycle benefits from a fully adjustable Ohlins suspension setup and a passenger seat cover. Both variants use an updated 937cc, L-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 108.6bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed transmission.
The styling cues on the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 include a revised design that draws inspiration from the Panigale V4. Thus, the updated model features a twin-pod full-LED headlight along with two fins and two air intakes at the front. The fairings, too, have received styling upgrades to look sportier than the old model. The feature list on the 2021 model includes a 4.3-inch full-TFT display, a single-sided swingarm, a trellis frame, raised handlebars, revised seat, three-spoke 'Y' aluminium wheels, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres.
