- 1676 SuperSport recalled in US
- Vibrations from motorcycle leads to buzzy mirrors
Ducati has recalled the SuperSport over an issue with the rear-view mirror. This recall is applicable to the North American customers.
As per the company, the vibrations from the motorcycle might result into buzzing mirrors. This could distort the rider’s viewing of objects while riding. The Italian maker claims that the vibes kick in at certain speeds and rpms. Around 1676 units have been affected by this recall.
To fix this issue, Ducati will contact the affected customers and will ask them to bring the bike to the nearest service centres. The mirrors will be replaced free of cost. This process is expected to begin from early January 2019.
Ducati India said no Indian units have been affected by this issue.
