Ducati Thailand has unveiled a piece of an art in the form of Mike Hailwood Scrambler edition. Limited to only 58 bikes worldwide, this unique motorcycle has been designed to showcase the Italian custom work.
Cosmetically, there’s a lot of changes on this motorcycle. In fact, if you look closely, the bodywork is completely different, making the motorcycle look gorgeous. There's a small fairing with tinted screen on this custom motorcycle. This has been done to give a 1970s look to this bike. The fuel tank has been given a custom paint job and the livery takes inspiration from the Ducati 900SS ridden by Hailwood in his comeback race after an 11-year break from racing.
Other than this, the bike gets a single seat which has been created specifically for this bike and has been designed to resemble the seat unit from the 900SS. In order to make the bike look more aggressive, Ducati Thailand has used a special handlebar and grips from the Panigale. At the rear, the tail indicators have been integrated into the seat unit, giving it a very compact look. The bike is also equipped with Ohlins rear shock plus a Termignoni exhaust system. And if you’re one of those who planned to buy one of these, you should know that 25 of these have already been sold.
