The Ducati Multistrada 950 and Monster 797 will be launched in India on June 14. These upcoming entry-level motorcycles of the Multistrada and Monster range were exhibited at the World Ducati Week and EICMA 2016.
We were closely following these developments and our sources have already revealed us the probable prices of the motorcycles. The most exciting is the Ducati Monster 797, which will be slotted below the 821 and priced at Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). That’s almost Rs 3 lakh off the bigger sibling's price. It will make the Monster 797 the most affordable Monster, bringing back the 803cc air cooled mill also shared with the Scrambler range. Though it is the newest, it is presently also the smallest member of the Monster tribe.
The Ducati Multistrada 950 will also officially go on sale the same day. This is Ducati's new entry level adventure tourer and will compete with the Triumph Tiger family with a sticker price of Rs 11.52 lakh. This will also be significantly cheaper than the Multistrada 1200 which costs Rs 14.85 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Ducati India will introduce both these models via the Completely Built Up (CBU) route. These will be imported from Thailand and deliveries are expected to begin by the end of June.
