Ducati is set to return to the legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2018. The company plans to stop KTM and for that they have selected Carlin Dunne and Codie Vahsholtz for the team.
Also called as the Race to the Clouds, this race is held in Colorado in US every year. The race route is 19.9kms long and has 156 turns that makes the race a very exciting one. The race ends at 14,110ft, making it one of the toughest races on earth.
The Ducati riders will have the Pikes Peak edition of the Multistrada 1260 for this race. This 1262cc motorcycle is Euro-IV compliant and churns out 158hp at 9500rpm and 129.5Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. It sports some top of the line components like Termignoni exhaust system, Ohlins suspension setup, bi-directional quickshifter, cornering ABS and various carbon-fibre bits like the windscreen, front mud guard and the air intake covers.
