- Ducati Memorabilia project launched
- Will sell some parts of MotoGP bikes
- Each parts will come with certificate of authenticity
Ducati has decided to sell original parts from the bikes which have competed in the MotoGP and SBK championships. The idea is to give people the joy of owning something exclusive.
The company calls this the Ducati Memorabilia project. Through this project, anyone can buy certified parts from MotoGP and SBK bikes. For now, parts like crankshafts, con-rods, camshafts and pistons are available. All these parts have been certified by Claudio Domenicalli, CEO, Ducati and Gigi Dall’lgna, Team Manager, Ducati Corse.
All parts will come with a technical description along with information on the rider and the world championship season. Each of these parts is protected in a plexiglass display case and comes with a certificate of authenticity. These exclusive parts can be purchased at the Ducati store in Borgo Panigale, Italy and also through its official website.
This is a fantastic initiative by the Italian maker. There are a lot of people in the world who would want to own some aspects of Ducati MotoGP. While there’s no way to own a Ducati MotoGP bike, it makes complete sense to own a piece of it through the Ducati Memorabilia project. And be ready to shell out a bomb as these parts won’t come cheap.
