Ducati is planning to set up a riding school and owners group in India. It will be a part of their global program, the Ducati Riding Experience. The riding school will teach learners correct riding techniques, while the owners group will allow members to participate in events and receive various benefits.
The riding school will teach riders the basic skills and techniques of riding. Furthermore, it will help riders develop their road and track skills. Ravi Avalur, MD of Ducati India said that it is work in progress, and that they are trying to find the right venues and instructors to organise the event. He also added that we can expect it to be set up soon.
Ducati will also introduce ‘The Desmo Owners Club’. It is a dedicated group of Ducati customers globally. The club will mainly organise rides for members in India. Some other benefits of being a part of the group include a chance to participate at discounted rates in events such as World Ducati Week and EICMA.
The company also plans to expand its dealer network in India, doubling it to eight by the end of the year. The most recent launch from Ducati in India is the 959 Panigale, read more about it here.
