At the ongoing EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Ducati has unveiled two special edition models of the Monster 821 and the Monster 1200 S. Both these new models will join the brand’s famed Monster range of high-performance naked motorcycles.
Called the Monster 821 Stripe and the Monster 1200S Stripe, the two new offerings feature, you guessed it, a white double side-stripe on the mudguard, tank and the pillion seat cowl. Both these models are finished in red and have fairings featuring the same colour. Speaking of technical advancements, the Monster 821 Stripe gets adjustable forks and the Monster 1200 S Stripe, on the other hand, benefits from Ducati’s Performance under-tail license plate holder and carbon belt covers.
Prices for both these models are out, with the Monster 821 Stripe and the Monster 1200 Stripe costing £9495 (Rs 9.31 lakh) and £13,995 (Rs 13.73 lakh)respectively. Ducati has sold over 2.9 lakh units of the Monster range since the launch of the original model back in 1992.
