Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has unveiled a new colour scheme for its Hypermotard SP. The supermoto, sporting its new look, was unveiled during the World Ducati Week 2014 which took place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The new Hypermotard features a sportier looking colour scheme that mimics the brand’s racing division called Ducati Corse. The motorcycle was unveiled by World Superbike Champions Troy Bayliss and Carlos Checa during the annual World Ducati Week festival.
The Hypermotard SP is powered by an 821cc Testastretta engine that puts out 110bhp of power. Since the motorcycle itself weighs only 171kg, it promises a lot in terms of acceleration and overall performance. The SP adds multiple riding modes, a three- step ABS and an eight- step traction control system straight from the 1199 Panigale superbike.
Ducati has revealed that the new Hypermotard SP with the sportier colour scheme will be hitting the showrooms, in Europe, in September with prices starting at £11,995 (Rs 12.33 lakh).
