The Italian manufacturer’s upcoming V4 superbike has been spotted in the flesh, undisguised.
The spy images reveal that the bike uses an underbelly exhaust unlike the Ducati 959 Panigale which uses a dual-barrel exhaust. While the overall design is that of a standard Panigale, the V4 sports a beefy fairing and the headlamp design is more sharper than curvy.
Earlier, Ducati revealed the V4 engine that will power this bike. The 90-degree V4 engine is named the Desmosedici Stradale, and will power Ducati’s next generation of superbikes. Although specs and power figures of the engine are unknown, you would not have to wait long for the details.
Ducati will unveil the V4 engine at the Misano circuit in Italy tomorrow. Although it is not sure if the superbike will debut alongside the engine tomorrow or at the EICMA this November.
