- Ducati XDiavel launched in two variants
- Powered by 1262cc, L-Twin engine
- Deliveries to begin today
Ducati India has launched the XDiavel in the country with a starting price of Rs 18 lakh for the Dark variant. Whereas, the XDiavel Black Star costs Rs 22.60 lakh, (both prices, ex-showroom). The Ducati XDiavel range is similar to the Diavel 1260 when it comes to the engine. Both use the same 1262cc, L-Twin ‘Testastretta’ motor that is capable of churning out 157.8hp and 127Nm.
It also shares its list of features that include a Bosch IMU, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), cornering ABS, cruise control, launch control as well as multiple ride modes that modulate power output, throttle, and ABS intervention.
However, the Ducati XDiavel offers relatively laidback ergonomics thanks to the sweptback handlebar and forward-set controls. As for its styling, the XDiavel gets a large and muscular fuel tank with a distinctively shaped full-LED headlamp at the front. The rear section sports a chopped tail that integrates the LED tail lamps while the turn signals are fitted on the tyre hugger mounted number plate holder.
Now, the XDiavel Dark gets a completely blacked-out look with Dark Stealth paint, matte black wheels, and a carbon black frame. On the other hand, the XDiavel Black Star gets matte grey and matte black with a red stripe on the tank. It also gets an ‘X’ logo on the lower panel.
Bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across all Ducati showrooms in India and deliveries are set to commence from today.
