The Ducati XDiavel was launched today with a sticker price of Rs 15.8 lakh for the standard version and Rs 18.4 lakh for the more premium XDiavel S (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Offering a mix of Ducati’s trademark riding dynamics and the comfort of a quintessential cruiser, the XDiavel is being marketed at the company’s first modern cruiser. The headlamp is one of the key styling elements of the XDiavel which significantly boosts its aggressive appeal. The XDiavel S also gets daytime running lights.
The Ducati XDiavel is available both as a single seater and a double seater. For those opting for the latter, the bike also comes with a pillion backrest.
The standard XDiavel comes in a matte black paint scheme as opposed to the XDiavel which gets a glossy black finish with red and grey stripes.
Ducati offers a high level of ergonomic customisability for the XDiavel. The footpeg can be adjusted in three different ways to suit the rider’s preference.
The stubby twin pipe exhaust system has been routed from below the engine. The XDiavel complies with Euro IV emission norms.
The XDiavel’s switchgear comes with toggle switches to go through the menu and the change the rider modes on the fly.
The Ducati XDiavel rides on lightweight 17-inch cast alloy wheels, which are shod with sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso II radials.
At the heart of the XDiavel is a 1262cc Testastretta L-Twin engine, delivering 155bhp and 129Nm through a six-speed transmission.
The XDiavel gets dual 320mm discs up front and a single 265mm disc in the rear, with Brembo Monobloc M50 callipers. Cornering ABS is standard.
