Ducati will launch the XDiavel on September 15, 2016. The cruiser motorcycle from Ducati will likely be launched in two variants – XDiavel and XDiavel S. Pricing for the motorcycle will start around Rs 15.56 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The XDiavel S demanding a premium of Rs 18.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), gets a different set of wheels, a Bluetooth module and an infotainment system. It is also available in a glossy black colour, as opposed to the standard version’s matte black paint scheme.
Both motorcycles use a brand new steel tubular trellis frame with a single-sided swingarm. The ergonomics have been completely revised to offer a more laid back riding position. At the heart of the XDiavel is a Testastretta L-Twin engine, borrowed from the Ducati Multistrada. This state of the art 1262cc liquid-cooled mill delivers 155bhp and 129Nm of torque to the rear wheel through a belt drive. The electronics package includes cornering ABS, traction control, rider modes and a launch control system.
