Ducati’s successor to the flagship, Panigale, was recently spotted testing and confirms the news about the manufacturer working on a new V4-engined superbike. Slated to be unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan later this year, the bike derives styling similar to the Panigale, although a bit different. This bike appears to be beefier along with a sharper headlight design.
The new V4 is expected to be sub-1000cc in order to adhere to the WSB engine regulations. And with a change in technology, performance and stricter emission norms, Ducati’s first full-production V4 aims to solve what the Panigale could not do. Ducati earlier confirmed that the V4 will be a 2019 model given that they will be using the upcoming Panigale R Final Edition as their WSB bike for 2018.
The details of the Final Edition Panigale R have been revealed ahead of its launch on 7 July, and we hope to get our hands on the specifications and name of this game-changer for Ducati soon. Stay tuned for updates.
