Dynavolt Triumph has unveiled the new Triumph Street Triple 765 RS for the 2021 Quattro Group British Supersport season. Triumph has partnered with PTR, and will be racing as Dynavolt Triumph.
The goal is to demonstrate balance and performance of the bike. Chassis used is aluminium beam twin spar at front and Rear - 2 piece high pressure die-cast frame on the rear. Powering the bike is a 765cc in-line three-cylinder engine which churns out 121.36bhp at 11750rpm and 79Nm at 9350rpm.
Dynavolt Triumph is managed by Simon Buckmaster’s PTR team. They are said to have a proven capability in Supersport race preparation, trackside operations and the ability to co-ordinate with the in-house engineering team.
Former WSS British rider Kyle Smith and former British MotoStar champion, Brandon Paasch are the two riders who will wear the Dynavolt Triumph team colours to officially represent Triumph Motorcycles in the race.
In discussion with MSVR and Dorna WorldSBK Organisation (DWO), Triumph is planning to establish a new Supersport formula. This will allow a wider range of engines to compete which will ultimately lead to development of bikes that people can see at their local showroom.
The Dynavolt Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is scheduled to make its debut on track during the first official BSB test, at Silverstone on 28/29 April 2021.
