Benelli unveiled a slew of motorycycles in Milan; one of them is the Leoncino 500 Sport.
The bike is based on the scrambler-styled Leoncino 500. However the Leoncino 500 Sport gets a cafe-racer inspired design. The 500 Sport sports a fairing over its LED headlamp along with clip-on handlebars, spoke-wheels and double-barrel exhaust. It also sports a newly-designed seat with a pillion-cowl, radiator guard, disc guard and number boards on the side.
The Leoncino 500 Sport shares its 500cc twin-cylinder engine with the standard bike. It produces 48bhp at 8500rpm and 46Nm of torque at 6000rpm. It gets ABS as standard with twin 320mm disc upfront and a 260mm disc at the rear. Suspension duties for the front end is taken care of by 50mm inverted forks while the rear gets a preload adjustable monoshock.
We can expect the bike to arrive in India after the Leoncino is launched here sometime next year.
