Ducati has unveiled a new model for the Scrambler Desert Sled called the Black Edition. The motorcycle gets an all-black paint, contrasted with red/orange/yellow stripes on the tank and fork protectors.
Apart from the new paint scheme, the bike remains the same. It continues to use the 803cc L-twin engine which produces 75bhp at 8250rpm and 68Nm of torque at 5750rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. This off-road worthy Scrambler sports 200mm of suspension travel on both ends along with a motocross-style handlebar, headlight mesh guard, engine skid plate and high mudguards. Braking is done by 330mm disc upfront and a 245mm disc for the rear, both Brembo units.
Although the bike will be displayed at the EICMA this week, we expect the Scrambler Desert Sled Black Edition to be available in India only next year.
