Hero MotoCorp has teased a new off-road concept bike ahead of its debut at the EICMA Show in Italy, next week. The new concept is expected to be christened TR 250R.
The teaser shows an off-road motorcycle being ridden through an off-road trail. The spoke wheels, narrow profile tyres, tall windscreen and the raised front mud guard hint at serious off-road capabilities. Ever since the Hero Impulse was phased out, Indian enthusiasts have been looking forward to a bigger and more powerful version of the bike in wave. Now however, there seems to be a glimmer of hope thanks to this new teaser.
The EICMA show is the biggest platform of its kind, and having a presence at the show should give Hero a global exposure. Hero has been working towards improving its global presence since the last few years, and the new concept should attract quite a few eyeballs given the sudden rise in interest in this market space. Apart from this off-road bike, Hero will also show a fully-faired concept.
