Kawasaki has expanded its range of modern classics with the launch of the new Z900 RS Cafe. The bike is the café racer version of the Z900RS street bike, which made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, last month.
The Z900RS Café differentiates itself from the standard bike with its old-school fairing, lowered handlebars and new graphics. It also sports a café racer-like seat to complete the look.
The bike uses the same 946cc in-line four cylinder engine as the standard Z900RS. This engine produces 110bhp and 98Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
Kawasaki has surely widened the appeal of the RS with the Z900RS Cafe. We could expect to see the bike on Indian shores sometime next year.
