- Leoncino 800 unveiled
- Biggest Scrambler from Benelli yet
- Production version likely to be revealed in a year
Looks like Benelli is going full throttle with its future plans. After unveiling the production version of the 752S naked bike, the company has showcased its new concept, the Leoncino 800.
The brand Leoncino is all about bringing the modern retro styling in Scrambler avatar. There’s a Leoncino 500 in the market as well, but is yet to make its India debut. The Leoncino 800 plans to cater to a more premium end of the segment where the Ducati Scrambler range lies.
The Leoncino follows the same design language as its younger sibling, but gets shaper lines and a bit of aggressive creases across the bike. Things like USD front forks, dual-purpose tyres, 17-inch spoke wheels and fat exhaust are seen on this bike. There’s no information on its powertrain as of now, but it is likely to share most of the hardware with the 752S.
Benelli is expected to unveil the production version of the Leoncino 800 a year later. Will this bike come to India? Definitely! Till then, the Indian market would know this Scrambler brand through the Leoncino 500 which is expected to be launched in a few months.
