Ducati has finally unveiled one of their most awaited motorcycles, the 2019 Diavel 1260. The bike was unveiled at the Ducati World Premier being held in Italy.
The 2019 edition has been heavily reworked at almost all places. The chassis, design, engine and even the swingarm have been worked upon. It retains the muscular design from its outgoing model. But the bike has now gone sharper and aggressive.
Powering this Diavel 1260 is a 1262cc L-twin 157bhp engine. The torque figures stand at 129Nm at 7500rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It gets various riding modes, cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), cruise control. It also gets 3.5-inch TFT colour display, hands-free, full-LED lights and self-cancelling turn indicators. There’s also an S model which gets Ohlins suspension setup and Brembo brakes. But will demand a high premium when it goes on sale early next year.
The new Diavel 1260 will come to India sometime next year, but expect it to priced higher than the current model .The Diavel 1260 S will also come to India.
