- The motorcycle is a limited edition model
- It comes in matte storm gray shade with several blacked out bits
- The bike will be limited to just 1400 units worldwide
Triumph unveiled its limited edition modern classic motorcycle, the Bonneville T120 Ace, at the 2018 EICMA in Milan, Italy. It comes draped in matte storm gray paint scheme along with Ace Café design logo on its side panels and mudguards. The motorcycle will be limited only to 1400 units worldwide.
In terms of overall looks, the motorcycle is similar to the standard Bonneville T120 except for the unique elements and various blacked out parts such as handlebar, exhaust and mirrors. Powering the bike is the same 1200cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 78.9bhp of power at 6550rpm and 105Nm of torque at 3100rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is based on a tubular steel cradle frame which is suspended on KYB 41mm cartridge forks on the front and KYB twins shocks at the rear with adjustable preload. Braking is taken care of by twin 310mm discs on the front and a single 255mm disc at the rear. It incorporates a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The Bonneville T120 Ace is highly unlikely to come to India since the company never launched limited edition models of the bike here.
