Bangalore-based electric scooter manufacturer, Ather Energy has reported its sales data for April 2023. The company reported a 117 per cent increase in the year-on-year figures for April, recording 8,182 unit sales in the recently concluded month across India. While the year-on-year numbers have improved, the company added that there was a dip in sales in April as compared to March 2023. This was due to the uncertainty around the FAME policy and its cascading impact.
During the month, Ather Energy revamped its electric scooter portfolio by introducing two new configurations of the 450X – 450X and 450X Pro-Pack. Notably, the Pro-Pack variant gets additional features and access to the Ather Grid fast charging network across the country. The standard model is available at Rs. 98,183, while the Pro-Pack version is priced at Rs. 1,28,443 (both ex-showroom, Delhi, including state subsidy). Meanwhile, the company has discontinued the 450 Plus variant from its product portfolio in our market.
Ather Energy has also expanded its reach across India, and the company currently operates in 87 cities with 120 experience centres. The electric scooter maker also has over 1,300 Ather Grid fast chargers across the country.
