Emflux Motors launched the Model 1 in the Indian market at Rs 6 lakhs. The Model 1 is not only the Bengaluru-based start-up’s first product, but also India’s first electric superbike. Here is the photo gallery of the bike from the 2018 Auto Expo-
The Model 1 gets a supersport-like design with an aggressive stance and sharp styling all through.
It gets full-LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp along with the turn indicators which are mounted on the mirrors.
To boost its sporty appeal, the bike gets low-set handlebars, rear-set foot pegs along with a single-sided swingarm.
Powering the bike is a liquid-cooled,AC induction motor that produces 67bhp and 84Nm of torque with a range of 200km on a full-charge.
The lithium ion batteries can be charged to 80 per cent in 30 minutes using the company’s ‘Warp Charger’.
It gets features like a Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour touchscreen display, real-time vehicle diagnostics, bike-to-bike connectivity and navigation.
It rides on 43mm upside down forks at the front and an offset monoshock at the rear.
Stopping power comes from dual 300mm discs in the front and a 220mm disc at the rear; both Brembo units.
The Model 1 gets a performance package which includes Ohlins suspension, carbon fibre panels and forged alloy wheels.
