The team at Energica are known to create some great machines and they didn’t disappoint us this time as well. The Italian electric superbike manufacturer showcased their latest creation, the Eva, at the ongoing EICMA show.
The Eva is the naked version of the Energica Ego electric superbike that debuted few months ago. The Eva loses out on the fairing that makes it look incredibly aggressive. Keep looking at it and it might just transform into an Autobot.
The Eva gets the same 136bhp motor and 11.7kWh battery pack but expect it to travel more than the Ego because of loss of weight and different throttle maps. One of the main attractions of the Eva is its projector headlamps that remind me of the Bumblebee. Unlike Ego, the Eva gets a comfortable upright seating position because of its tall handlebar setup.
The Italian manufacturer said that they are still testing this new electric superbike and is still months away before the commercial production begins.
