- To develop 2 new e-Bike, Speedbike and Commuter
- Focus is on practical urban commuting
- His previous business failed as it was unsustainable
Erik Buell has decided to go electric with his new venture. Called the VanguardSpark, this company will make electric bikes for urban roads.
There will be two products in the initial stage, the Speedbike and the Commuter. The former will be an alternative to mopeds and small scooters, whereas the latter will act as a replacement for 125-150cc commuter motorcycles. For now, the company has just revealed the design language to tell the world more about its products. So expect the final production variant to have a revised styling. The company has applied for four patents related to these products. The prototyping is expected to begin in the next few months.
After the failure of some of his past ventures, hopefully this time, Erik Buell manages to bill a sustainable business. E-mobility is the future, so Erik Buell is definitely going the right away.
