The Euro4 compliant Diavel Carbon is now available across Ducati's dealerships in India at Rs 19.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The bike was earlier removed from the manufacturer's line-up with the industry's move to BS-IV emission norms.
It sports the same muscular styling as the standard Diavel. However, the Diavel Carbon gets forged aluminum wheels along with exclusive livery. The bike also features a Zircotec-coated exhaust system and brushed steel exhaust covers.
Powering the bike is a BS-IV compliant 1198cc L-twin engine. This unit delivers 152bhp and 123Nm of torque via a six-speed transmission and slipper clutch. The Diavel Carbon is 5kg lighter than the standard Diavel with a kerb weight of 234kg.
With the discontinuation of the Yamaha VMAX in India, the Ducati Diavel Carbon does not have any direct competition here.
