After the Indian market, Honda has revealed the 2022 CB300R for the international markets. The BS6-compliant model, which is already available in the Indian market, is priced at Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Euro5-compliant model retains the 286cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the updated motor is tuned to produce 30.7bhp at 9,000rpm and 27.5Nm of peak torque at 7,750rpm. Apart from Euro5 compliance, the updated model also benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism.
The 2022 model continues to feature the Neo Sports Café style. The feature list retains full-LED lighting and a LCD screen with a gear position indicator. The motorcycle will be available in four colours in the international markets. The existing Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red paint themes are now joined by Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Pearl Agile Blue colours.
The hardware on the 2022 CB300R comprise 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup includes a 296mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS that works with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
