Evolet India, a Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler startup, had made its debut in the Indian market in the first week of September this year. This was followed by the opening of its flagship dealership in Gurugram along with five retail outlets in other cities of India. Now, the company has announced the opening of its yet another flagship showroom located in Panvel, Raigad.
At its brand introduction, Evolet had launched three e-scooters including Polo, Derby and Pony which have been priced in the range of Rs 39,499 to Rs 59,999 (both prices are ex-showroom). Additionally, the company had also introduced an all-electric quad bike named the Warrior. Furthermore, Evolet’s future line-up comprises of an electric maxi-scooter, street bike and a fully-faired e-bike.
According the retail expansion plan shared by the brand, Evolet will be mainly focusing on widening its dealership reach in Maharashtra in the initial stages. This includes inaugurating around 20 dealerships by March 2020. Following this, the company targets to sell around 150 units of two-wheelers from each dealership and aims to dispatch 1000 units collectively each month. As released in the company’s official statement, it is mainly focusing on the cities where electric two-wheelers have more adaptability.
Evolet India is an electric two-wheeler brand of Rissala Electric Motors group which also produces electric buses for public sectors, in association with AMS Electric Mobility. The company has its manufacturing facility in Bilaspur, Haryana which has a capacity of 3.5 lakh two-wheelers per annum.
