- Will be the most affordable model in the Pulsar line-up
- To be available in two Neon-style colour options
- Bookings for the bike have commenced
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been in the headlines for a while now as the Chakan-based bikemaker is all-set to introduce it soon. While the motorcycle is yet to be officially launched, we have received its pricing from our dealer sources. To be called as the Pulsar 125 Neon, it will be priced at Rs 66,586 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), which makes it the most affordable model in the Pulsar line-up. The motorcycle will be available in two Neon-style paint schemes with options of blue and silver accents while black being the base colour. Bookings for the bike have already started and deliveries will commence soon.
The previous spy shots have revealed that the Pulsar 125 Neon will carry the same design as the current Pulsar 150. In that case, it features the same angular headlamp accompanied by bikini fairing, beefy fuel tank and a sleek tail section with a single-piece grab rail. The semi-digital instrument cluster and conventional headlamp flanked by position lamps on both sides will also be retained.
As for the engine of the Pulsar 125, details are scarce as of now. Notably, Bajaj has the Discover 125 which produces 11bhp and 11Nm from its 124.5cc, carbureted motor. Expect the Pulsar 125 to be slightly more powerful in order to exude a sporty character. In terms of cycle parts, the suspension hardware will comprise of telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by a single disc at the front and drum brake at the rear assisted by combined braking system.
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon will go up against other 125cc premium commuters including the Hero Glamour FI and Honda CB Shine SP.
