Ducati Scrambler to be launched in India at Rs 6.38 lakh

We are just few days away from the official launch of the Ducati motorcycles in India but we have managed to get the prices of the Scrambler range, in India, from a source.

Ducati India has already imported few motorcycles from their Thailand facility, making us believe that the Scrambler will also be launched as a completely-build-up (CBU) unit. India has Free Trade Agreement with Thailand, due to which there is hardly or no custom duties to be paid for products being imported from Thailand.

The Ducati Scrambler gets its heart from the Monster 795. This 803cc air-cooled V-Twin engine churns out 75bhp at 8,250rpm and a maximum torque of 5,750rpm. This engine is mated to a six speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. The Indian market will get five models of the Scrambler, just like the international market.
