- Biggest Xpulse 420 global unveil tomorrow
- Likely to churn out 45bhp
- India launch next year
Hero MotoCorp will finally unveil one of the most demanded motorcycles, the Xpulse 420, tomorrow at the EICMA show. But this unveil will come in the form of a concept, with the production bike likely to be unveiled in 2026.
The Xpule 420 will be built around a brand-new platform. So the engine, the cycle parts and even the styling of this bike will be brand new. This new 420cc liquid-cooled engine is likely to churn out around 45bhp and will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. In fact, Hero MotoCorp has brought this motorcycle on par with some of the famous global motorcycles. While it will compete with bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and also the recently unveiled KTM 390 Adventure, Hero believes that the Xpulse 420 will be able to start a whole new segment.
According to our sources, the Xpulse 420 was planned for a 2023 debut, but the project got delayed due to issues with the engine. But it looks like the company has finally sorted it out, and the production-ready model will be launched in India sometime next year.
Hero MotoCorp will use an innovative way to unveil the Xpulse 420 tomorrow. Stay tuned to BikeWale as we bring you detailed pictures of Hero’s biggest adventure bike.
