- Will be powered by a 451.65cc engine
- Power output could be 39.47bhp
- To be officially launched soon
Our sources have revealed new details of the upcoming Royal Enfield ADV, the Himalayan 452. The bike will be powered by a 451.65cc single-cylinder motor and the power output will be rated at 39.47bhp. It’ll be linked to a six-speed gearbox and the peak power will be accessible at 8,000 rpm. Then, the wheelbase of the new Himalayan 452 will be 1,510mm and its width will be 852mm.
The bike has been spotted testing multiple times in India and on foreign land. Its official debut could happen soon as the block-your-date invite has been scheduled for October 30 to November 1. We expect the price and other details to be out shortly after that.
While the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 takes inspiration from the existing version with its round headlight, and metal frame between it and the fuel tank, the bike also sports quite a few new elements. For reference, the trellis frame, the hardware and features would be brand new. The Himalayan 452 will ride on USD front forks and a monoshock. Then, the braking hardware will comprise a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These will be linked to the 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in off-road-ready rubber.
Along with the LED headlight, Royal Enfield could also offer a fully digital instrument cluster on the new Himalayan 452. It would house all the necessary readouts and probably feature smartphone connectivity. In typical Royal Enfield fashion, buyers can also expect a bunch of accessories for the Himalayan 452. From crash guards to footpegs, seat options, handlebar guards, mirrors and luggage sets too.
We expect the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 to be priced at around Rs. 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will have the KTM 390 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, and BMW G310 GS in its crosshair.
