- Four more 350cc motorcycles launched planned
- Classic 350-based Bobber under development
- Will also launch most affordable Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield will launch a total of four more 350cc motorcycles over the next two years. The company has already launched the new Classic 350 and the Meteor over the last 12 months.
These upcoming four motorcycles are all based on the company’s new J platform. The Meteor was launched last year whereas the Classic 350 was introduced in 2021. According to our sources, the four new motorcycles will be launched over the period of two years. There’s the new Bullet 350 that has been codenamed J1B. This model will replace the current Bullet 350 and the Bullet 350 ES.
There’s also a Bobber that will be based on the Classic 350. This particular project gets a J1H codename and will feature a single-seat, bobber-styled tall handlebar and white wall tyres. This Bobber will be the last launch of the lot and probably the most expensive. The last two motorcycles will be positioned as an urban motorcycle – the J1C2 and the J1C1. One of these bikes are currently called the Hunter in the world of online media. These two bikes will be identical to each other, but there will be a few changes that will make them different from each other. The J1C2 , when launched will become Royal Enfield’s most affordable motorcycle in the country. While most of the parts will be shared with its more premium sibling J1C1, the company will give it less features and simple-looking body panels.
All four bikes will be launched in India by the end of next year. Royal Enfield is expecting to bring in more volumes through these bikes. In fact, it is betting big on some of these models doing better in overseas market.
