- Likely to look much sportier than the current model
- Could feature a new design, revised tail light and more
- Currently in the early stages of testing
Our sources have just revealed that TVS is likely working on an updated version of the Jupiter 110. The scooter is currently in its testing stages and the process in being carried out in Maharashtra. The Jupiter 110 is likely to receive an update on the aesthetic front to make it look sportier and more attractive than the current model. We think there could be a design tweak as well as new colours.
We have further learnt that the upcoming TVS Jupiter 110 could get a new tail light setup. If the brand opts for an LED setup, then it would enhance the visual appeal quite well. That said, we expect the updated TVS model to get the same engine and hardware as the current one, because ‘don’t fix what is not broken’.
So, you can expect it to have the same 109.7cc, air-cooled engine with the output rated at 7.77bhp and 8.8Nm. It comes linked to a CVT transmission system. Then, the hardware comprises telescopic front forks and a monoshock along with drum brakes at both ends. However, the brand does offer a disc brake on higher-spec models. So, we expect a similar approach for the upcoming Jupiter 110 too.
The current Jupiter 110’s design has been too long in the tooth and a refresh would be a welcome change. The scooter rivals the Honda Activa 6G which has been a household name for years. So, with an update, TVS can bump up the popularity of the Jupiter 110 in this space.
