Hero MotoCorp has announced that the first batch of the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 adventure tourer has been sold out in the Indian market. The company also said in its press announcement that the bookings for the second batch of the motorcycle are currently open. Do note that the company has not revealed the total number of Pan America 1250 motorcycles that were allotted to the Indian market in the first batch.
Speaking about the response received by the Pan America 1250, Ravi Avalur – Head, Premium Segment Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said that with the first shipment being completely sold out, it is truly heartwarming to see how the market has responded to the product.
The first adventure tourer from the American two-wheeler maker is available in two variants – Standard and Special. The base model is available from Rs 16.90 lakh onwards. The Special variant, which benefits from added features over the standard model, is available from Rs 19.99 lakh onwards. Both variants are brought to India via the Completely Built-Up units. The new Pan America 1250 rivals the likes of BMW R 1250 GS and the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport in our market.
The deliveries of the new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 have already commenced in India. The first unit of the motorcycle was delivered to Anushriya Gulati, Assistant Director, Ladies of Harley.
