Indian Motorcycle Riders Group (IMRG) flagged of its first national ride to Daman from its dealership in Gurgaon. Indian Motorcycle had launched its riding group in India at the India Bike Week in Goa back in February 2016.
The IMRG group from New Delhi joined by customers, dealers and company officials including Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd will head to Gujarat through the highways of Rajasthan where the Ahmedabad IMRG group will join in to ride to Daman together. However, the IMRG members from various cities all over India are expected to gather at Nahuli, a common stop-point, 22kms from their final destination in Daman where they are scheduled to reach on September 30, 2016.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dubey said, “Owners of Indian Motorcycle across the globe have always been going for long road trips, hence we felt that giving a similar platform to our customers in India, would be an ideal gift to them for pursuing their passions. This national ride would truly help the riders to understand the appeal of Indian Motorcycle ownership. I’m confident that the participants would enjoy the itinerary that have been planned for them, where the group leaving from New Delhi and other parts of India will keep increasing in numbers as they shall join other IMRG members at Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Nahuli, before finally concluding their journey at Daman on September 30, 2016. I wish all the bikers participating in this ride all the very best for their journey.”
The IMRG members from New Delhi who will proceed to Daman are expected to cover a total distance of 1300kms.
