Five updates on the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc

Bajaj recently introduced a new sportier variant of the Pulsar 150, christened as the Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc. While its moniker hints at the most important change, there are a few more cosmetic and technological upgrades. We take a look at the top five updates on the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc -

Revised styling

The Pulsar 150 twin disc is available in a refreshing black/blue paint scheme. The 17-inch alloy wheels also get rim tapes, while the tank and the front fender get bright red stripes. Considering that most of the Twin-Disc customers would appreciate sporty styling, Bajaj is offering split seats and split grab rails on the bike.

New brake setup

The Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc gets a 220mm rear disc brake with a single-piston calliper. However, Bajaj did not stop there. They even upgraded the front brake on the bike with a 260mm unit in place of the standard variant’s 240mm unit.

Longer swingarm

To accommodate the rear disc brake, Bajaj upgraded the swingarm of the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc. It now features a slightly longer swingarm borrowed from the Pulsar 180 which has slightly increased the bike’s wheelbase.

Wider rear tyre

With the new swingarm, Bajaj is also offering a meatier tyre. While the standard Pulsar 150 rides on 100mm wide tyre, the one borrowed from the Pulsar 180 is 120mm wide. It boosts the visual appeal of the bike.

Beefier front forks

The bigger telescopic front forks have also been borrowed from the Pulsar 180, and are 37mm in diameter. They give the front end of the bike a beefier look.
