A BMW dealer in Spain spotted four next generation S1000RR waiting to be fuelled in a petrol station. All the four bikes carried data logger on its rear seat and none of it wore any camouflage. A close look at these bikes reveal the new design language which is much sharper and aggressive. It also gets a much larger visor. To keep the bike as aerodynamics as possible, the tail section gets vents for better air flow. Also, the indicators are integrated on the rear view mirror.
Rumours suggest that the 2019 S1000R will be powered by a counter rotating crankshaft. Power output is likely to be more than the outgoing model. In terms of technologies, the will definitely be loaded with plenty of safety electronics.
This new German superbike is likely to make its official debut at the upcoming 2018 EICMA Show in Italy. The global launch is expected to take place early next year. So the Indian launch will happen the same time.
