The EICMA show next week is going to be a major event for KTM considering the motorcycles they are going to exhibit. The pictures of the RC 125 are all over the internet before the official launch.
Earlier we had seen the pictures of KTM’s other fully-faired bikes the RC 390 and the RC 200 and its interesting to note that the RC 125 doesn’t look much different from its elder siblings. Apart from the minor changes to the body graphics and paint scheme almost all other styling elements on the RC 125 are similar to the faired versions of the other Dukes. The motorcycle is still expected to be as light as 127kg despite the addition of the fairing.
The RC 125 shares the same underpinnings as the Duke 125 and will be powered by the 125cc single cylinder engine churning out a maximum power of about 15bhp. Thanks to the combination of this powerful engine and a neatly designed full-fairing, the performance of the motorcycle would be definitely be better than its naked sibling.
The Indian market, however, is not expected to be getting the RC 125 and it will be produced only to be exported to other markets.
