A fully-faired version of the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS has been spied testing on National Highway 4 just outside Kolhapur. The spied motorcycle was fully camouflaged and looked closed to production ready model making us believe that the launch will happen in next few weeks.
The upcoming fully-faired Pulsar 200 will be a compact sportsbike that will compete with the Yamaha R15 V2.0 and Honda CBR150R. But we can expect this motorcycle to be loaded with features. From the image, we can see the motorcycle sports clip-on handlebars, the tank looks very muscular, sporty split seats, new alloy wheels, standard telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. Expect this motorcycle to be powered by the same 200cc single-cylinder Pulsar 200NS engine but the engine will be re-tuned to churn out around 23.5bhp.
Few months ago, Bajaj Auto had announced to launch six new Discovers and two new Pulsars that will be fully-faired. It won't be far when we start seeing the test mules of the Pulsar 375 which is currently the most awaited motorcycle from Bajaj's lineup. Talking about the price, expect this motorcycle to demand premium of Rs 20,000- Rs 25,000 over the Pulsar 200NS making it a great value for money fully-faired motorcycle to buy in India. But its Bajaj, they always like to shock us with their competitive pricing.
