Greasemonkeys has unveiled a new custom motorcycle called The Sausage Creature. The motorcycle is based on a 2008 TVS Apache RTR 160 and features several cosmetic and performance modifications to give it the air of a café racer. The custom shop has also launched crash protectors for KTM and Bajaj motorcycles.
Based out of Pune, Maharashtra, Greasemonkeys has been making custom parts for motorcycle for over a year now, although this is their first motorcycle build. The Sausage Creature has been styled to look like a café racer. Elements like the round chrome-rimmed headlamp, wooden tail cowl, brown seat and the twin-pod analogue instrument console give it a nostalgic charm. The low clip-on handlebars, rear set footpegs and the sculpted fuel tank give it an aggressive riding position.
At the heart of The Sausage Creature is a rebored TVS RTR engine, displacing 165cc. It gets high-lift cams, a multi-map CDI and a free-flow exhaust to improve performance. The Sausage Creature weighs 116 kilograms, which makes it 20 kilograms lighter than the host motorcycle. It rides on beefier 41mm front forks and preload-adjustable dual spring in the rear. It gets disc brakes at both ends.
Greasemonkeys has also launch crash protectors, compatible with the KTM 390 Duke, RC390, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the Dominar 400. These have been priced at Rs 4,300.
